Every month we visit a creative, colorful and inspiring person. She or he is the ' bedMATE of the month'.

The bedMATE is the most iconic item in our collection. The extra long pillow serves as a headboard , but also as a cuddle buddy, a friend who gives support.

We crawl into bed with the 'bedMATE of the month. We take a look at their home and their colorful bedroom. In conversation we discover how they experience the SUITE life . What's going on in their heads? Where do they get their inspiration from? What color do they dream in?

Iman Whitfield's apartment in the heart of Amsterdam feels like a modern Mediterranean holiday home. And that is precisely the dream of this creative jack-of-all-trades, her own house in Mallorca, designed & decorated by her.

At the moment , Iman is mainly focusing on directing. As we speak (and as we shoot) she is busy preparing for a big commercial that she will shoot in Cape Town. Finishing the shot list, packing the suitcase, that job.

Iman has many great productions to her name. For example, she ran Pied à Terre, a creative location for events & shoots, devised and created in-store concepts for fashion brands and even briefly had an art gallery.

A look inside Iman Whitfield

Iman has a great passion for interior design, objects & art and it shows. Every vase, photo, work of art or chair has a story. 'From Catawiki! Found on Marktplaats! Family heirloom! Made by a friend of my mother!', a curated hodgepodge of beautiful things. But above all, a warm home.
